About the qualification

The SCQF Level 5 Introduction to Driving Education Award is a nationally recognised, structured qualification for anyone who wants to step into the world of driving instruction. Made up of 13 progressive units, the programme takes you from the fundamentals of your own driving right through to the knowledge and tools you need to build a successful career as a driving teacher.

Every unit includes assignments that form part of your qualification portfolio. Training is delivered both in-car and online, giving you a flexible yet thorough learning experience.
